Especially on helping those who need the love and care besides the financial support which has caused me to think how am I faring over here.

NCC (going back to my secondary school and HQ to help out and serve)
Secondary School Alumni Youth Wing

Sometimes, there are too many that I want to run away from all and give myself a break and to have quiet time.
Perhaps God put me there for a reason, I just hope that I will not be involved in so many events and know which one to priortise with his guidance.
But sometimes, it is difficult.... the barrier need to be taken out of me....

So what's next? Just using this to question myself and think through

Previously, I am not approachable to Sundays as it is Monday Blues on the next day.

Now I am starting to appreciate Sundays even though it is a routine

Morning - go exercise with Friend
Afternoon - study and do assignment at Library
Late Afternoon - attend church service to listen to God's word and feel the peace and quiet after a hectic week.
Evening till night - stone or continue to study or do assignment at Library before taking bus back home...

Learn to leave it and continue on

Amazing Race

Father Day's gift from the church. Note Pad

Located somewhere around Sembawang Rd End

Participated in the third season of Bus Enthusiast Amazing Race on Saturday
The previous two seasons I was involved in helping and planning out.
This time round, the play of the game was different where each team was issued a passport and there were many tasks to be done and allocated with different points. We were given 6 hours to finish as much as we could. While the previous two followed the style/format from the Amazing Race.
My team consist of three people, including me.

We started off from Youth Park (Somerest) then headed to Choa Chu Kang/Bukit Panjang, Kranji War Memorial, Woodlands (near the checkpoint), Admiralty Rd West, Yishun, Sembawang Town/Rd End, Orchard, Suntec before back to the place where we have started off.

Overall the race was relaxed even though at some parts we have walked quite a long distance. But it was a good experience.

After church service today, did not expect that all guys/man above 12 years old would receive a gift for Father's Day.
Maybe I am too uncle and old. haha

A Particular Day

Went to school today in the morning by taking MRT before transferring bus to school. Managed to reach on time.

Decided to go over to Atrium to see whether Four Leaves sell whole cake but did not see any of them on display, went over to class. Was quite embarrassed along the way as I was crossing the zebra crossing, I slipped and almost fell and the action that I tried to balance myself was exaggerated.
First lesson was Purchasing, followed by Multimodal Transport where Lance, Roy, Peter and me went to Four Leaves at Atrium to purchase whole cake to celebrate Ferly's birthday.
After MT Class, went to IT helpdesk to print notes. Along the way to the next class which was Project Event Logistics managed to see some of my Wuhan trip mates. Remember those days at Wuhan again...... Went to class and celebrated Ferly's birthday during PEL Lesson.
After class, went for lunch at SIM with a few of my classmates before going over to library to finish up on PEL assignment and study for tomorrow Econs test.

6pm was the briefing for poly forum and I was assigned to team 4 which focus on the topic of Erosion of Cultural Identity. I felt that this was the most difficult to approach among the four. Prefer to do the topic of responsibility and rights of the individual

Went back home after that by bus.... Managed to chance upon Uncle Ang KS bus and managed to have a good chat with him. Even though it was not encouraged to talk to the bus captain =X but sometimes it is better to have someone to talk to, so that he will not feel bored or tired. But I will also know my limits, not to talk so much and not to talk during driving. haha

Support - Giving each other support in times of needs and difficult times by caring
Encourage - Giving each other encouragement in times of needs and difficulties for reassurance and morale boosting
Accountability - account for each other issues/problems and keep it to heart

Listen with a sincere heart and note down on the main problems mentioned by the other party.

It led me to know the importance of helping others who are in need and not to be self-centerd and reassure my faith even though the particular week can be tiring or down.

Surrender

Back in my secondary school days(having NCC as my CCA), my endurance, tolerance level was high and sustainable.

But now, it has dropped drastically...

But I know that it is not good to trap everything inside my heart as one fine day, I may blast it out.

So it is better to surrender all the troubles and problems to him, able to feel the peace and presence. But sometimes my heart is not willing to do so. So teach me and others too...

4 weeks after school has started and I am busy with assignments, tutorials, commitments and will be accompanied by upcoming tests and quizzes.

Somehow the AWARE saga has managed to come to a closure and I am thankful for that. I will not make a stand here on who I support. But I felt that the world we are living in for now is getting more diverse and complicated. We see issues like euthanasia, homosexuality etc... getting more common now than before and somehow we need to discuss on it and cannot keep it quiet forever as what my brother has mentioned. Seeing many people with many different beliefs, ideas/thoughts, coming from different background, sometimes it can be a difficult task to appease all groups as opposition may be faced.

But I felt the most important issue is to help out those who are in times of troubles and needs etc. I can say I have difficulties when it comes to this as sometimes I don't really dare to open up or perhaps I am preoccupied with my work/self-centred/selfish. However, some of the things we cannot do it totally by our strength and mind as it may tire us out easily. But when someone is there to encourage and listen to you, perhaps he/she may feel better.

How does one look at his/her life?

Perhaps I am bad in expressing myself which may portray myself as a busybody or nuisance and I apologise for that.

Tiring day

Yesterday attended one of my cousin's wedding and it was good as I am able to meet my cousins whom I rarely meet unless during big occasions like CNY, grandmother's birthday and etc...

Woke up close to 9am in the morning. Managed to finish Global Purchasing Tutorial One after many days of hesistation and thinking. Do not really have the mood to do tutorials and study.

After lunch, went to the library over at Bugis to do some research and finish on the rest of my tutorials and assignments. But ended up spent most of the time surfing the internet and was unable to concentrate as I was tired. Decided to go to other places, but ended up walking around Raffles City shopping center and headed down to MPH bookstore to read through TIME and Newsweek magazines. haha

Decided to head to St Andrew's Cathedral earlier for quiet time before attending the 5pm service which made me think a lot again. haha
Went straight home after that!

Found out that Starbucks is a good place to do my assignment or study during public holidays as the libraries are closed.
